Who We Are
Focus in Coaching was developed by Larry Warren out of his desire to help people live a purposeful life. Through a near-fatal accident, Larry gained a profound understanding of human value and destiny and an unquenchable passion to equip others to work out their unique mission.
“At age 11, I was hit by a truck while riding my bike. This accident sent me to the emergency room and eventually required me to have surgery to remove a blood clot from the base of my brain. My life was almost claimed by this trauma, and it left a lasting impression on me, extending more deeply than the scar marking the back of my neck."
“I believe that God spared my life for a reason. He put me on this earth for a specific purpose. My desire is to help others understand that they, too, have a purpose and to help them reach their God-given potential. I often say that God created us on purpose and for a purpose. People come alive when they realize who God created them to be.” – Larry Warren
Personal Background
Larry earned his M.Ed. from Regent University. He also graduated from the Essential Coach Training and Life Map for Focused Living courses offered through the Center for the Advancement of Christian Coaching.
Larry’s vast experience involves serving people through the local church as both a children’s pastor for six years and a small group’s pastor.
He and his wife, Liz, reside in northern Virginia, with their beloved dog “Tek,” named after Red Sox catcher Jason Varitek.
