What is Christian Coaching?

Christian coaching is designed to lead you through a process of discovering and living out a life of purpose with greater confidence in who God created you to be.

Focus in Coaching operates from the premise that in Christ we find out who we are and what we are living for. He has designed us for glorious living that unfolds as we understand our purpose.

How is Coaching Different Than Mentoring?

A mentor tells you what you should do; a coach will come alongside you to help draw out of you what God has placed within you.

Focus in Coaching believes that you are the expert of your life. No one is better positioned to know and understand you better than you. A Focus in Coach will help you set goals, establish steps to accomplish them and encourage you as you bring focus and clarity to your life.

How is Coaching Different Than Counseling?

Counseling helps people work through their past in order to live a better life. Coaching works with people on the present in order to ensure a better future. Coaching also assumes, for the most part, that people are healthy. God has placed great potential in you, and we want to partner with you to help you fully utilize it.

How Can Focus in Coaching Help Me?

Our primary focus is helping people discover and live out a life of purpose. The starting point is building an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. To bring purpose into our lives we need to know Him and His unique plan for our lives.

Focus in Coaching will encourage you to draw closer to Him as we walk with you through a process to learn more about yourself and His plan for your life. Together, we will help bring clarity to your strengths, passion, abilities, personality and spiritual gifts. A Focus in Coach will give you the tools to help you realize your potential and inspire you to live it out. We want God’s best for you and believe the best in you.

Quite often, the journey is just as important as the destination. For this reason, we place a high value on cumulative coaching sessions. We are committed to you and ensuring that the process brings greater focus and clarity to your life.
